Sunday Roast

The Sunday Roast is a long British tradition.

    We offer many options which include :-

  • BEEF :- Topside, Silverside , Aitchbone, Rib Rolled or On the Bone and Brisket to Pot Roast.
  • PORK :- Rolled Leg, Shoulder, Loin Rolled or On the Bone and Belly Pork.
  • LAMB :- Leg on the Bone or Rolled, Shoulder on the Bone or Rolled, Racks of Lamb and Rolled Loins Stuffed (Noisette).
  • CHICKEN:- Whole Chickens, Crowns, Breast on the Bone or Boneless and Legs.
  • GAMMON :- Rolled Joints.

Easter

Easter orders are taken from early March

We are open on Good Friday Morning 7.30 – 12.00 noon
Easter Saturday 7.30 – 1.00pm.
We are closed on Easter Monday.
Normal opening hours from Tuesday after Easter Monday.

BBQ Season

    When its BBQ time we make and marinade a variety of popular favourites :-

  • Sausages in a variety of flavours plus our Traditional Pork. Longer sausages can be ordered. Flavours include: Sweet Chilli, Smokey Maple & Chilli, Cracked Black Pepper, Pork & Apple, Pork & Leek, Leek & Cayenne Pepper and more
  • Burgers Including :- Beef & Onion, Pork & Apple, Pork & Apricot, Lamb & Mint, Larger 100% Steak Burgers (Gluten Free)
  • Marinated BBQ Ribs , Chinese Spare Rib Pork Steaks, Chilli Ginger & Lemon Pork Loin Steaks, Piri Piri Chicken Drumsticks & Thighs, Garlic Chicken Breast Fillets, Peppered Beef & Pork Steaks.
  • Kebabs Including :- Mediterranean Beef, Piri Piri Pork, Sea salt Pepper & Garlic Lamb & BBQ Chicken
  • We can marinade any meats to your requirements upon request.
  • Please ring for specific / larger orders and give 48hr notice.

Christmas Turkeys and Meats

  • Free Range Bronze & White Turkeys & Geese :- We source these from our local farmer Steve at Great Grove Poultry near Attleborough, Norfolk who has supplied us with quality birds for the last 20+ years. These are Dry-Plucked and hung to mature in the traditional manner, to ensure the finest eating quality and taste. We personally check each bird and individually allocate to each customer to provide the best match possible.
  • Turkey Breast Joints :- This is a cut from larger turkeys sourced from the same farm as above and available Bronze or White.
  • Turkey Crowns :- Bronze or White on the Bone with legs removed. Minimum weight 3.5kg Please Note it works out cheaper to order the whole turkey and have it crowned by us free of charge Keep the legs if you wish – freeze & cook them another time.
  • Chickens :- These are our smaller chickens from Diaper Poultry Suffolk which range in size from 1.6kg to 2.2kg
  • Packington Free-Range Cockerels :- These cockerels roam freely through green pastures living on a natural diet, supplemented with the finest maize and omega 3 enriched corn, delivering a healthy stress free bird with a golden glow. From farm to table cockerels make a delicious meal. Reared between 2.5kg and 6kg the birds are full of flavour and a great alternative to a traditional turkey dinner. All Packington Free Range Cockerels are hand packed and individually boxed to ensure they reach you in the best possible condition.
  • Gressingham Ducks :- A gamey flavour and tender meat.
  • Gammon :- Very popular at Christmas, we sell both raw and cooked Suffolk cured gammons on the bone as well as boneless joints.
  • Beef, Pork and Lamb :- Over the festive season our counter will be brimming with quality Beef, Pork and Lamb joints, chops and steaks.
  • Game :- We have local game when available, please ask in store.
  • Pies :- We have a selection of Homemade Pork Pies, Pork & Egg Pies, Game Pies plus more to choose from.

Placing an Order

  • We start taking orders on the 25th of October.
  • They can be taken by Phone, Email or with us in person at the shop.
  • In person is always the best way to discuss prices and amounts over our range of products.
  • For Telephone orders a deposit of £20 per Bird will be taken over the phone at the time of booking by card payment.
  • For email orders please include your telephone number and we will contact you for your £20 deposit payment before your order is confirmed.
  • Payment is due on collection.
  • Please order your Xmas Fare by the 8th of December as choice could be limited after this date. Orders will then be taken up to Christmas depending on availability.
