Locally Sourced Beef & Lamb
Locally sourced by H G Blakes and originates from local farmers across East Anglia with full traceability. Whole carcasses are traditionally butchered by hand on the shop premises to provide the finest cuts and specific requirements.
Blythburgh Free Range Pork
We use Blythburgh Free Range Pork from Halesworth in Suffolk. The pigs are bred and reared living outdoors to produce pork which has outstanding flavour and tenderness. This outdoor living is paramount for that old fashioned full flavoured tasty pork. The pigs are able to roam and root about in a extensive natural environment.
Suffolk Chickens
Finest Suffolk Chicken – Diaper Poultry. Reared in smaller flock sizes by individual farmers who are passionate about the welfare of their animals.They have far more space around them than other more intensively reared birds

We are supplied by Bramfield Meats in Halesworth, Suffolk .
Bacons
The range includes dry-cure, hand-rubbed and matured, unsmoked (green) or smoked cuts, back & streaky or specialist cures such as Suffolk Beer and Treacle.
Smoked Gammons
Bramfield smokehouse team use age-old craft and a variety of techniques and timing to suit the cuts and end products, using oak and beech chips, smoking them overnight.
Sausages & Burgers
Our homemade traditional pork sausages are a firm favourite and handmade the traditional way. We use a mixture of shoulder, belly and leg of pork and a natural casing. Homemade GLUTEN FREE sausage is always available frozen for specific dietary need. A range of flavoured sausages also very popular with varieties such as CRACKED BLACK PEPPER, SMOKEY MAPLE & CHILLI, PORK & LEEK to name a few.

Game
Locally sourced when in season including rabbit, venison,
